INTRODUCTORY PRICE £15 plus £5 delivery A light but robust shot trainer of my own design, 3d printed to order and fitted with lightweight stretch tube. The D shape is designed to mimic the brace height of the bow, and to catch the stretch tube so that you can practice your release without any fear of slapping your arm. It also allows chest harness or mouth tab shooters to hook in the trainer single handed. Fit a d-loop for compound use, or use as is for recurve. Random colour depending on filament availability – if you want a specific colour please contact us!

The STL files for my shot trainer for 3d printing at home. Tree supports recommended for overhang support (build plate only); I also recommend 4 wall loops and minimum sparse infill of 20%. When you have got the right length, tie the loose ends to the loop right next to the handle to fix it in place. £10 plus £2 delivery. Paracord and bungee stretch loop with robust woven handle. To adjust, pull the loose ends through to shorten the loop, or pull the loop to lengthen it. When you have got the right length, tie the loose ends to the loop right next to the handle to fix it in place. Suitable for all bowstyles to train the release. The stretching sections have an elastic limit – if you are a compound set the loop length so that you reach this at full draw, when you would hit the cam wall on your normal bow. If you are a recurve you can set it the same way to improve the power of your release, or lengthen the loop so that you do not reach the limit to produce a feel more like your bow. Note that for some release aids with very narrow jaws you may need to tie a d loop to the trainer to get a decent fit.
